Ask a Question
No question about the Bible is too simple, too strange, or too hard. If you are wondering it, someone else is wondering it too.
Ask your question
Tell us what you are wrestling with — a verse that will not sit still, a doctrine you have never had explained, a question you have been carrying for years. We read every question that comes in.
The question form is being set up. Until it is live, send your question through the contact page and it goes into the same queue.Coming soon
What happens next
✦
It goes in the queue
Every question is read. Questions many people are asking move to the front.
❧
We study it
We work through the passages that speak to it before we write a word, and we say where the answer comes from.
✓
It gets published
Once it has been reviewed, the answer goes on the site under its topic, free for anyone to read.
What we publish, and what we do not
We never publish your name or your email address. Questions are sometimes reworded slightly for clarity, so that the answer is useful to everyone who asks something similar. If you leave an email address, we use it once — to tell you when your answer is live.
If your question involves a crisis, please also reach out to your local church or a trusted counselor. A website is not a substitute for people who can sit with you. Please note
It may already be answered
Hundreds of questions are already answered on this site, arranged by topic. It is worth a look before you write.

Read the Bible here — coming soon
We are building a full, beautifully readable Bible into this site — the Berean Standard Bible, free to read with no ads and no paywall — so every answer can link straight to the passage it stands on. It is on the way.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
