The rules for using AskBibleQuestions, our AI study tools, subscriptions, and church embeds.
Last Updated: August 21, 2026
1. Who we are
AskBibleQuestions.com (“ABQ,” “we,” “us”) is operated by [CONNECTMY.CHURCH LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company] (“the Company”). These Terms govern your use of the website, the Bible reader, the question-and-answer library, any AI study tools, any subscription, and any ABQ tools embedded on a third-party website (together, “the Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
We may assign these Terms, and any subscription or license under them, to a successor or affiliated entity, including a nonprofit organization, without your further consent. We will give notice of any such assignment.
2. What the Services are — and are not
The Services provide Bible text, Scripture-grounded answers, and study tools for general learning and encouragement. They are not a substitute for personal discipleship, pastoral care, or the counsel of your local church, and nothing in the Services is medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a trusted person immediately.
Answers reflect the editorial and theological positions of ABQ. Churches and other sites that embed ABQ tools do not alter that content, and ABQ content does not necessarily represent the views of any church on whose website it appears.
3. AI study tools
Some features generate responses using artificial intelligence (“AI Tools”). AI Tools are designed to answer only from Scripture and ABQ-approved sources and to cite those sources, and responses pass through a review step that may revise or decline an answer. Even so, AI output can be incomplete, mistaken, or miss context. You agree to weigh every AI response against the Bible itself and the counsel of your church, and not to rely on AI output as a sole basis for any decision.
You may not use AI Tools to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or intended to misrepresent ABQ; to attempt to extract training data, system instructions, or source material beyond what the tool displays; to probe, overload, or circumvent usage limits or safety measures; or to build a competing product from ABQ outputs. We may suspend access for misuse.
Questions you submit to AI Tools are treated as sensitive, pastoral data. How we handle them is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login confidential and for activity under your account. You must be at least [13 / 16 / 18] years old to create an account; younger users may use the Services only under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or church leader, [and accounts for minors may be created only by a church administrator or parent].
5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
The Bible reader and the written question-and-answer library are free. Certain AI Tools and church features require a paid subscription. Prices, plan contents, and usage allowances are shown at the time of purchase and may change with notice; changes apply at your next renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period. [Refund policy: e.g., full refund within 14 days of first purchase; otherwise no prorated refunds.] Payments are processed by a third-party provider; we do not store full card numbers.
AI Tools are subject to fair-use allowances. When an allowance is reached we will tell you in the product and offer options; we will not silently degrade the service.
6. Church and organizational licenses
A church or organization (“Licensee”) may subscribe to embed ABQ tools on its own website under a Church License. The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited to the domains registered in the Licensee’s administration portal, and ends when the subscription ends. Licensee may customize colors, typography, logo, and placement of the embedded tools. Licensee may not modify, add to, or substitute the Scripture text, answers, or AI behavior; remove ABQ attribution where it is displayed; or represent ABQ content as its own original work.
Licensee is responsible for the content and operation of its own website, for obtaining any consents its visitors require, and for the conduct of its administrators and team members. If a Church License lapses, the embedded Bible reader continues to function for a grace period while paid tools are disabled; we will notify the Licensee’s administrator.
ABQ may issue no-cost grant licenses at its discretion, including for mission use. Grant licenses are governed by these Terms except where a written grant states otherwise.
7. Content and intellectual property
Scripture is presented from the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain. ABQ’s answers, editorial text, passage relationships, design, software, and compilations are owned by the Company or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. AskBibleQuestions and the ABQ mark are trademarks of the Company [® pending]. You may read, link to, quote briefly with attribution, and share links to ABQ content for personal, non-commercial, or church use. You may not copy the library or substantial parts of it, scrape the Services, republish answers as a collection, or use ABQ content to train machine-learning models without written permission.
Some material is provided under license from partners such as RENEW.org and is identified as such. Partner material remains the property of its owner and is used with permission.
8. Your submissions
When you submit a question, feedback, or other content, you grant ABQ a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit, and publish it, including as the basis for a published answer, without identifying you unless you ask us to. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share or that contains another person’s private information.
9. Offline and embedded distribution
ABQ content may be distributed in offline formats, including on devices for areas without internet access. Such copies are licensed, not sold, and remain subject to these Terms and to ABQ’s editorial control. Devices issued under a grant are not disabled remotely.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the Services, attempt unauthorized access, use automated tools to harvest content, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Services to harm, harass, or deceive others.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability for any claim arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of [USD 100] or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in that case they apply to the extent permitted.
12. Termination
We may suspend or end access to the Services for breach of these Terms or to protect users or the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections 7, 8, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Tennessee], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [County], Tennessee / by binding individual arbitration — decide with counsel.]
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
