  • Amos 6:14 For behold, I will raise up a nation against you, O house of Israel,” declares the LORD, the God of Hosts, “and they will oppress you from Lebo-hamath to the Brook of the Arabah.”

2. An unknown person or place

  • 1 Chronicles 2:55 and the clans of the scribes who lived at Jabez— the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
