A son of Eshton

• 1 Chronicles 4:12 Eshton was the father of Beth-rapha, of Paseah, and of Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These were the men of Recah.

2. Ancestor of a family which returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon

• Ezra 2:49 the descendants of Uzza, the descendants of Paseah, the descendants of Besai,
• Nehemiah 7:51 the descendants of Gazzam, the descendants of Uzza, the descendants of Paseah,

3. Father of Jehoiada, probably identical with number two

• Nehemiah 3:6 The Jeshanah Gate was repaired by Joiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah. They laid its beams and installed its doors, bolts, and bars.
